About Deepa Surti
our STORY
RecruiTalent was founded in 2019 by Deepa Surti, driven by a passion for transforming the recruitment experience after witnessing employers' frustrations with traditional hiring models. With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the recruitment industry, Deepa has provided end-to-end hiring solutions, primarily within financial services—including superannuation, wealth management, financial planning, and insurance.
Before launching RecruiTalent, Deepa spent two years with one of the world’s largest international recruitment firms before co-founding a national agency specialising in banking, finance, accounting, and legal recruitment. She later ran her own independent freelance recruitment business, where she developed a transparent, rigorous, and systematic hiring process—one that remains at the core of RecruiTalent’s approach today.
With a deep understanding of the industry and an innate ability to uncover top talent, Deepa continues to help businesses build strong, future-ready teams with a recruitment process they can trust.
